Layton monitors federal and state government and policy matters, producing reports that inform clients on developing issues. He also assists HDA in closely monitoring developing news matters and tracking relevant social media, conducts project and legislative research and produces aligned collateral materials for clients, including social media strategy, website content and fact sheets. A native of Gulfport, Mississippi, Layton is a graduate of Louisiana State University’s Manship School of Mass Communications with a B.A. in Political Communication, and a minor in Sociology.
