HOW TO COORDINATE AN OPEN HOUSE, PRODUCE A VIDEO, DESIGN TWO BROCHURES, AND MAKE T-SHIRTS IN TWO MONTHS OR LESS

To plan and coordinate a community open house for Atlas Processing (a Pennzoil Products Company) and to produce supplemental materials, including a background video and brochure, open house logo, t-shirts, exhibit signs and orientation brochure. Atlas Processing had never held a community open house, nor did the company have existing background literature.
“Atlas Processing-Community Partners in Progress” was chosen as the Open House theme. Employees were encouraged to be involved in the planning stages in order to assure greater participation in the Open House. HDA acted as general advisor in the coordination of the event and produced all supplemental materials in a two- month time frame.

More than 2,000 community residents and employee family members attended the Open House to learn more about Atlas Processing. The background video and brochure were used repeatedly as a community outreach tool. Atlas employees gained a greater sense of pride in their facility and carried that into the community.
